MISSION:
With support from USA Hockey’s Program Services department, coordinate and develop growth opportunities with local youth hockey associations.

OBJECTIVES:

• Be the “go to” within the Affiliate for growth initiatives coordinated through USA Hockey’s Program Services department
• Work with a larger group of appointed Affiliate Growth Coordinators to share best practices and develop new opportunities to expand participation
• Help acquire and retain youth hockey players with a focus on the 4 to 8 year old age range
• Encourage and assist local association participation in national programs with a focus on Try Hockey For Free Days and the Hat Trick Growth Challenge
• Liaison between USA Hockey’s Program Services department, the Affiliate and local associations

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES:

• Work with association leadership on acquisition, conversion & retention programs
• Collect best practices on other growth initiatives within your Affiliate
• Explore opportunities to increase program satisfaction
• Recruit other volunteers from local associations to be growth leaders within their community

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A passion to grow the game
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Enthusiastic
