Dear Atlantic District Families,
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus and as an alternative to cancelling the event, we are forced to further postpone the Quebec evaluations for our 2008 players.
We have worked tirelessly over the past months to find a way to hold these evaluations safely, and have met each challenge as it arose. We were very much looking forward to welcoming our players into the Atlantic District Player Development Program this weekend; however, there are several factors that have led us to this decision:
We cannot express how saddened we are to be disappointing our players and families this late in the game, but given the circumstances and with over 200 players planning to attend, we are left without another option and believe it is in the best interests to postpone the evaluation for now.
Should the tournament organizers decide to move forward with the Quebec Tournament, we will find a way to conduct tryouts and select teams to attend. If not, we have already begun exploring alternative ideas for celebrating our 2008 players locally. We will send a separate memo on refunds, once the Quebec Tournament issues its decision.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
Stay Healthy and Safe,
Glenn Hefferan
