The Atlantic District is proud to report that two players from New Jersey were selected for the 2021 National Sled Hockey Team. Jack Wallace (Franklin Lakes, NJ) and Josh Pauls (Green Brook, NJ) were announced as returnees to the team that will compete at the 2021 Para Ice Hockey World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Both Wallace and Pauls are defensemen and members of the gold medal-winning 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. Wallace most recently played for the New Jersey Freeze out of Aspen Ice in Randolph, New Jersey. Pauls played with the DASA St. Louis Blues and is also a member of the 2010 and 2014 gold medal-winning U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Teams.

In 2019, Wallace was a special guest at the USA Hockey Special Classic Festival hosted by the Atlantic District at the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ.

The team will be led by head coach David Hoff, who will be entering his third season in the position, and assistant coach Corey Gorder.

Congratulations to both Jack and Josh!
