16U NJ Titans Girls Make a Glorious Comeback

The New Jersey Titans defeated team Wisconsin in an amazing comeback in West Chester today at the Girls Tier-I 16U division.

Almost 14 minutes into the second period, the Titans were trailing 4-1. The Titan’s tide began to turn when Adriana Urban scored two goals towards the end of the second period and six minutes into the third.

The Titans were able to capitalize on two power plays in the third period. Charlie Rauch scored a goal to tie the game 4-4 and Abigail Hehl scored the game winning goal 13 minutes into the third period with an assist from Rauch.

Three of the Titans’ goals were scored on power plays; the New Jersey team took advantage of the opportunities they were given, scoring on three out of the four power plays they had. Team Wisconsin also experienced three power plays for a total of six minutes with advantage, but were unable to get past the Titan’s defense.

The victory means the New Jersey titans are now in third place in NHL pool play, trailing behind Shattuck St -Mary’s and the Chicago Mission and leading Team Wisconsin.
