The Woodbridge Wolfpack are the USA Hockey Youth Tier-II 14U 3A National Champions!

Monday morning, the Wolfpack faced off against the LA Jr. Kings for the title in Dallas, Texas. A competitive game from the outset, both the Wolfpack and Kings battled for two periods. The third period started strong for the Wolfpack when Ryan Lukko took a shot from the point that went wide and was picked up by Ryan Kapp who fired it into the net.

The score remained 1-0 for nearly the rest of the third period, with Wolfpack goalie Andrew Barron playing like a brick wall.

With two minutes to go, the Kings pulled their goalie in hopes of tying the game up. But Owen O’Gleeve wasn’t taking any chances and scored an empty netter for the Wolfpack. The Kings kept their goalie on the bench, and O’Gleeve managed to feed the puck to Ryan Lukko who scored a second empty netter.

The Wolfpack won the game 3-0.
