Congratulations to Our Honorees

The AAHA Awards & Appreciation Night was held on Thursday, June 24 at Flyers Skate Zone, Voorhees. Thank you to our hosts – the Philadelphia Flyers and Rob Baer – as well as our presenting sponsors – New Jersey Devils, Black Bear Sports Group and New Jersey Titans.

The event recognized and thanked the hundreds of officials, coaches, managers, club leaders and volunteers who made the past season a success.

Emceed by NCAA College Hockey Analyst Dave Starman, the event was attended by USA Hockey President Mike Trimboli, USA Hockey Treasurer Donna Guariglia, former Colorado Avalanche Player Colby Cohen, NCAA D-1 Champions from UMass Amherst Marc and Anthony Del Gaizo and Jr. Flyers player Alyssa Wruble.

AAHA President Glenn Hefferan recognized New Jersey Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin for his assistance in restarting play across the state and Little Flyers player Brian Page for his strength and resiliency.

Coaching education, player development and officiating development program leaders recognized their respective staffs for the past year. Colleen Marinari was recognized for her years of service to AAHA and the DVHL.
