The Lady Patriots are ending a successful Breast Cancer Awareness month with their Pink the Rink Event complete two raffles this weekend, Oct. 30-31 at Hatfield Ice Arena.

Raffle tickets are $20 each and 100% of the proceeds will go to GrandView Hospital Breast Cancer Patient Care center. Four Lehigh Valley Phantoms tickets to a regular season home game of choice are being raffled courtesy of the team. Talkin’ 215, a Philadelphia sports podcast, donated a pair of tickets to a home regular season Flyer’s game, winner’s choice of Flyers jersey, and a featured article on bleacher report talking all things hockey with credentialed writer Frankie James.

“Throughout the month of October the Lady Patriots will continued to collect donations for this local hospital,” Stephanie Bardell, Director of Operations for the Lady Patriots said. “We have players from 6 through 60 wearing pink this October to show their support for the survivors, the family members, and all those affected by Breast Cancer.”

Players raised $35 to purchase a pink jersey, with all the proceeds of course going to GrandView. Some of the players received donations from local sponsors.

The Lady Patriots will be collecting donations for the remainder of the month through their Venmo, @LadyPatriots-IceHockey with the label ‘PTR Donation.’
