Over a thousand hockey fans saw the Stanley Cup and other hockey hardware today, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ice Vault Arena in Wayne, NJ.

Other than the cup, the Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award, Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award, James Norris Memorial Trophy, Art Ross Trophy, Hart Memorial Trophy, and the Sled Classic trophy, the O’Connor Courage Trophy, were all on display. Phil Pritchard, Keeper of the Cup, was also on site sharing stories and facts with eager visitors about hockey history.

The awards were in New Jersey for the Sled Classic, a sled hockey tournament sponsored by the NHL and hosted this year by the New Jersey Devils.

Professional photographers were on site to take photos of guests free of charge which can be accessed on the AAHA Flickr.

All of the trophies, except for the O’Connor Courage Trophy, have been packed up and are on the way back to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada. The O’Connor Courage Trophy will be presented to the winner of the Tier 1 division of the Sled Classic tomorrow afternoon.
