Plenty of officiating seminars are taking place over the holidays for anyone looking to join the game in a different way.

Those looking to become officials have to be at least 14 years old and sign up for the sessions ahead of time.

If you would like to become a registered official before the new year, there are a limited number of sessions last.

There is a zoom session Monday, Dec. 20 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. that is mandatory. Participants can then attend one of four ice sessions. The sessions are Sunday, Dec. 26 from 4-6 p.m. in Hershey, PA, Monday, Dec. 27 from 10 a.m. to noon in Wayne, NJ, Tuesday Dec. 28 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 5-7 p.m. in West Chester, PA.

The Atlantic Affiliate is always looking for more engaged, trustworthy officials who love the game of hockey and want to help in its success moving forward.
