BUFFALO, N.Y. - Next week starts USA Hockey’s Women’s National Festival and the Atlantic Affiliate has three players, Hadley Hartmetz, Rose Dwyer, and Ava Thomas, who will be competing for spots on Team USA competing in international events.

Hadley Hartmetz of Phoenixville, Pa. was selected for the O18 roster, having played in the 2018 Under-18 Women’s World Championship in Dmitrov, Russia and winning gold. She currently plays for Ohio State University, after transferring from Boston College following two seasons of play in which she accumulated 29 points. Prior to collegiate hockey, Hartmetz played with the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers and Valley Forge Minutemen in the Mid Atlantic Women’s Hockey Association.

Joining Hartmetz are Rose Dwyer and Ava Thomas who are members of the U18 festival roster. Both Dwyer and Thomas play for the Jr. Flyers currently, competing with the Tier-I 16U team that made an appearance at USA Hockey Nationals this past season.
