Dear AAHA Official - 

The purpose of this FREE workshop is to provide the right candidates with high-level training in the USA Hockey four-man officiating system and to assign you games in an adult league featuring players currently in the NHL, AHL, Europe, and NCAA D1 college hockey. 

Candidates should be highly motivated, athletic, excellent skater, and looking for opportunities to officiate the highest levels of ice hockey. If this describes you, then this is a great opportunity. 

The workshop will take place at the Ice Vault in Wayne, NJ, on June 11, 2023, and we expect to start at 10am. It will include classroom and on-ice skating instruction from some of our top officials currently working in the AHL and NCAA hockey. 

It is important to note as part of this high-performance officiating program; you will be asked to work games that occur mid-week, after 6pm, at the Prudential Center - NJ Devils Practice facility. Customary game fees will be paid, plus parking will be provided for all working officials. 

Because these games are exclusive to the Prudential Center, we will provide a $25 travel allowance for the right candidates who want to participate in this high-performance program but must travel over 100 miles round trip. 

YES... you will get seminar credit for attending this workshop! 

YES... we will have swag for those selected to attend! 

This will be unlike any other officiating workshop or seminar, but we are looking for officials that have a strong skill set, will work hard, and are motivated to work top-level games. We will review your application and get back to you by May 25th. 

Not all applicants will be accepted into this program, and you will be notified by email if you have been accepted and required to attend on June 11, 2023
