USA Hockey Travel Permit

USA Hockey teams traveling to Canada to play games against Hockey Canada teams must obtain a Canadian/USA Hockey Travel Permit.  Please contact your Program Registrar for the correct Travel Application for review and approval by the Atlantic District Registrar Staff.  The approval process can take up to 14 days so please plan accordingly.  Once received, we will confirm with Hockey Canada that the tournament is sanctioned by Hockey Canada to ensure your team will have coverage in place during your travel.  Please note that travel to Canada during the months of May, June, July and August is not sanctioned.  Once the form is reviewed you will receive notification from us indicating if your travel has been approved or denied.  If approved,  a copy of the approved Travel Permit Form will be sent to you via email and should be retained as positive proof of registration and travel approval.  The designated Association or Team Representative is responsible for reporting all injuries, major penalties and any unusual incidents to the proper authorities within 48 hours upon returning.
